Small Dog Social resumes on Monday November 13th 2023

Join other small dogs and their people for an hour of social time in an off-leash, indoor environment.  Dog play increases social skills and provides lots of exercise and fun for the small dog crowd!

Indoor playtime happens at Creative Nomad Studios, 23 Mississaga St W Orillia

We define a “small” dog as approximately 25 pounds or less.  Also, consider your dog’s personality in choosing to attend dog social.  Group play can be overwhelming or overstimulating for some dogs.

Please bring vaccination records on your first visit.  We require an up-to-date DHPP and rabies.  Bordetella is strongly recommended for your dog’s best protection but is not required. Dogs over 1 year old must be spayed/neutered.

• Your dog will be asked to leave for behaviour that is unsuitable to group socials.

SOCIALS & APPROPRIATE DOG PLAY

Socials are designed for friendly, well-socialized dogs and are not intended for teaching your dog how to play with other dogs or rehabilitating social skills. If your dog is a rough, selective, fearful, or avoidant player, we may suggest alternatives, as socials may not be the best choice for your dog. Happy, social, and comfortable dogs interact with each other by running, chasing, pawing, and sniffing.  They do not bite, cower, or hide.
